Branches of the Institute

Fraunhofer IGB conducts research at four locations. In addition to the principal office at the Fraunhofer Institute Center Stuttgart, the former project groups in Straubing and Leuna have become permanent branches of the IGB. The “Virus-based Therapies” branch office in Biberach has been receiving state funding from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism since October 2023.
