Trade fairs and events | Retrospect 2019

For many years, the Lower Saxony Groundwater Colloquium and the International Symposium ReWater Braunschweig have been important events for the water and wastewater treatment sector and are well-established conferences in the research and innovation landscape within and beyond the Braunschweig Region of Science.

At ICE europe in Munich, Fraunhofer IGB will show barrier coatings, oil, water, dirt or ice repellent coatings and biobased formulations for multifunctional coatings, which can also be produced in roll-to-roll processes. You will find us together with the Fraunhofer Institutes FEP and IAP in hall 5, booth 1174.

From March 12–14, 2019, international scientists and experts meet at the Congress Center Düsseldorf to discuss on the progress of storage technologies for renewable energies. This year again, Fraunhofer IGB will present the topics of sorptive heat storage and chemical energy storage. Visit us at the Fraunhofer booth H33 in hall 8B.

Fraunhofer IGB will be represented at the Fraunhofer booth Digital Solutions and New Materials in hall 6, booth A30, at the Hannover Messe in 2019. Among other things, we will show you functionalized affine sensor coatings to detect environmental gases such as NOx or SO2 or other molecules that are difficult to measure, a new rapid test method for investigating the weather resistance of paints and a self-adhesive anti-ice film made of impact and shock-resistant polyurethane.

POWTECH provides a platform for innovations and advancements in processes for the manufacture of quality products made and processed from powder, granules, bulk solids and liquids – also for the environmental and recycling sector. With the VARIOLYTICS process mass spectrometer IGB presents a sensitive system to analyze substances simultaneously in the gas and liquid phase and thus monitor processes in real time.

The Fraunhofer Alliance Food, the Fraunhofer Alliance on Nanotechnology, and the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment BfR invite you to their third Joint Symposium on Nanotechnology in spring 2019. This time, the event is hosted by the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology IGB in Stuttgart.

As a member of the Fraunhofer Technical Textiles Alliance, Frauhofer IGB will present its research work on the development and production of new insect chitosans and chitosane-based functional coatings for yarns and textiles at the joint Fraunhofer stand (Hall 3.0, Stand C76).
